What is Hydromulch?
Hydromulch: The Fast Track to a Lush, Green Landscape
Hydroseeding, also known as hydromulching, is a cost-effective alternative to sod. It involves spraying a customized mixture of water, seed, mulch, fertilizer, and soil stabilizers onto the ground.
This method promotes fast and uniform growth of grass or other vegetation, making it ideal for erosion control, lawn installation, and large-scale seeding projects. The unique mulch in the mixture helps retain moisture, protect the seeds, and provide a nutrient-rich environment for optimal germination and growth.
How often do I water the hydromulch?
We recommend watering your hydromulched area 2 to 3 times a day for the first 30 days. It’s important to allow the areas to thoroughly dry before watering again to avoid oversaturation.
During extremely high temperatures, we suggest increasing the frequency to 3 to 4 times a day to combat evaporation and ensure the seeds receive adequate moisture for optimal growth.
